The drive and its borders laid out, it was time to move on. next would have to be a potager. Big enough to provide vegetables and soft fruit to last us all year and indulge Edmund's love of growing varieties from all over the world.
And while we still have land and time to spare let's start the "Blue Garden" using all shades of blue and pink.
The rose garden was planted with over 200 different species, both ancient and modern, to provide colour and cut flowers throughout the summer. |
